On Sunday was attending winter event of samoyed dogs with my friend and her dog Bob - it was so funny to see 30 white bundles storming around in white snow.And many of them where pulling sledges first time....And spring is here...

BEFORE AND AFTER

When looked out of window in the morning seemed as Cinderella´s ballroom had turned into pumpkin... saw totally different world... And it is amazing how quickly big piles of snow
lost weight- wish I could be as successful with my extra kilos...

Working in my dungeon - making tea cups ... Also want to make new cups -Alice in Wonderland-so drawing a lot to create my Alice and all the funny things and creatures that surrounded her...Haven´t been drawing too long - feel so helpless still.But it is good to draw again...

Icy window in my shop...




Looked into my Mother ´s recipe note-book and found this recipe for knot-shaped cracknel.
Tried to make it for my friend ´s birthday. And to my surprise it was a success!!!
So decided to try her other recipes too- remember how we baked together when I was wee girl. Miss my Mom so much...

SINGER-VINGER

Do not want to repeat myself all the time- but have to say it is snowing again...I wonder if I still can walk normally-walking in my winter penguin style- to stay on feet on snowy and icy streets...
Tonight is the last party in our Art Academy building- it will be knocked down in April- new one is built on the spot.Spent 5 wonderful years in that building...so it will be the final crazy night there

WHIPPED CREAM

Today is Shrove Tuesday- Vastlapäev- one of my favorite holidays.Was eating gorgeous pea-soup and too many vastlakukkel- bun with whipped cream- mmmm
Now taking my sledge and going out to sledge down a hill-perfect weather...

TIGER AND VALENTINE

Today started new year- year of Tiger.And it is Valentine ´s day. Was reading that it will be a year of love and passion- usually I do not believe in horoscopes but this I want to believe!!!
And my cups were a sucess ...

LEONARDO

Was in museum today-went to see recently discovered supposable self portrait of Leonardo da Vinci.Museum was packed- usually nobody around...People just love sensation.Still it is good that they found their way to art and museum(first day 2000 visitors!!!) , hopefully some of them come back.
And it was another nice winter day.Wishing that morning will come sooner-put my new porcelain cups into kiln and can´t wait to take them out and hopefully admire them...

SHADOWS

Today was lovely sunny winter day. Sunlight made wonderful shadows on the walls.Baked an apple cake to put a perfect end to a perfect day.

Was in park in the afternoon wondering at snowmen and ice statues.Winter is not so bad after all.
Made new porcelain cups later- very happy with my day...

WARM

When opened eyes today saw piles of snow on my window.Started to miss summer in country so so much...

FEBRUARY

Today took out my bonny Christmas tree at last- it is tradition in our family to keep it so long.Having wonderful collection of glass decorations- oldest dating back from 1915. It is always sad to pack them into boxes again.
