KEVAD TULI

It is first spring day- first warm day...Was scared that this year winter will last forever...was lovely one but now is time for warmth and brightness...And it is wonderful to find first signs of spring...Discovered that my tomato plants came out of soil...And got some daffodils and willow-bunnies outside my shop...

APPROACHING

Back at home-decided to stay in all day and enjoy cleaning and sorting out my things. And struggling to finish my tax papers- last minute as every year- do not even make promise to do it earlier next year....

SAILING

On ship on my way to Turku craft fair... Sea is foggy and icy and bit bumpy..
Yesterday was at the market- stalls are ready for summer..So am I - ready for summer...

Was in country on Sunday- went to see if my friend´s house survived all that snow.So we walked on snow field, falling in now and then up to knees- was funny but made us very tired- had to struggle out of snow too many times..
Were eating pancakes with cloudberry jam- so,so,so good...Simple pleasures are the best!!!
Now am ready for another busy week...

NOTHING SPECIAL

Making bread today- all my friends got carried away- so decided to try to make my own rye bread...Dough has been rising under towel all day- have to wait 30 minutes and then can start kneading the dough...Quite exiting- have decide what seeds and spices will throw in...
And took some new things out of my kiln

VALGED

Was good to be in Helsinki... Shame one of my favorite cafes - Engel-is closed now...Hope it will be back after the building is renovated...Have wonderful memories from there....
Was selling my things at craft fair in Vanha Satama - after that feel bit scared about future- how to go on but am mad or optimist - soon will go to similar event in Turku...But really hard to get motivation to start working again...anyway - making new things again...
Anyway you can feel spring is almost here...
